This combined workshop provides the skills and knowledge to safely enter and work in confined spaces while conducting atmospheric gas testing using portable detection equipment in accordance with workplace procedures and WHS requirements.

Introduction:

Confined space work presents unique hazards that require controlled entry procedures, atmospheric monitoring and effective risk management. This workshop combines nationally recognised training in confined space entry and gas testing to prepare participants to identify hazards, test atmospheres, work safely and respond appropriately in high-risk environments.

Target Audience:

Suitable for workers, contractors and supervisors who enter confined spaces or perform atmospheric testing across industries such as mining, construction, utilities, maintenance, manufacturing, infrastructure and shutdown operations.
